**Seiko Epson Expands High-Frequency Oscillator Lineup to 625 MHz**

Seiko Epson Corporation has developed and begun mass production of the "SG2520EGN-HFR" and "SG2520VGN-HFR," differential output crystal oscillators that achieve low phase jitter at the fundamental mode and have expanded the upper frequency limit to 625 MHz. To keep up with the increasing data traffic in next-generation data centers, optical modules are expected to shift from 800 Gbps to 1.6 Tbps, resulting in even higher speeds and larger capacities. This calls for even higher frequencies and lower jitter in reference clocks.
