VTH21 Series of Photodiodes for Radon Detection: Offered in chip form for optimal alpha particle detection, Excelitas’ low-capacitance VTH21 Series of silicon photodiodes provides high responsivity to radiation of interest, making the photodiodes an ideal solution for radon gas detection and alpha particle detection. VTH21 photodiodes are available in both a 5x5 mm and 10x10 mm large active area for maximum detection of low-level radiation and a spectral response between 400 nm and 1100 nm.
