Considering the cost of the bill of materials, most IC original design or final product application circuit designers will use Quartz Crystal components with a lower bill of materials as electronics.
The preferred choice of circuit clock source.
The biggest difference between the quartz component and the Quartz Crystal Oscillator is that the latter supplier has already designed and assembled all relevant oscillator circuits and control ICs, and Integrated in the single crystal oscillator, the user only installs the oscillator on the circuit board, designs the correct power supply circuit, and when the power is turned on, it can naturally output the required calibration of the circuitFrequency value and expected accuracy (including dynamic working high and low temperature conditions), but in terms of bill of materials cost, the price of quartz oscillators will be higher than the most basic and simple quartz components.
Therefore, most designers will choose quartz components, refer to the original IC recommendations or design their own circuits to achieve the clock signal source required by the specific system circuit board IC or peripherals.
However, designing a quartz oscillator circuit requires relevant analog circuit design experience. This circuit can easily confuse electronic circuit design engineers or related signal test engineers. The purpose of this video is to illustrate
Introduce, how to select a correct and applicable quartz component and specification for a specific application circuit? How to test and verify whether the designed oscillation circuit is safe and stable? Is it accurate?
