The iD8811 is a high voltage synchronous buck converter that can support the input voltage range from 8V to 28V and the output current can be up to 2.4A. CC and CV Mode operation provides current limitation function.

The iD8811 supports QC2.0 function that is detected from D+ and D- line and automatically detects whether a connected Powered Device (PD) is QC2.0 capable before enabling output voltage adjustment. If a PD is not compliant to QC2.0, the iD8811 disables output voltage adjustment and outputs 5.1V only for USB PDs to ensure safe operation.

The chip also provides protection functions such as OTP, OVP and short circuit protection.
