Clare, Inc., an IXYS company and wholly owned subsidiary of IXYS Corporation, officially changed the company name to IXYS Integrated Circuits Division Inc. on July 19, 2012. As IXYS Integrated Circuits Division, we will continue to design, manufacture, and market a wide variety of semiconductor devices, and be a major provider of optically isolated semiconductor products.

We will further integrate into the IXYS Corporate family with closer technological and business cooperative efforts, while maintaining all of the aspects of Clare that our customers have come to expect. We will continue to expand our product lines of specialty high voltage integrated circuits, communication integrated circuits, and the industry-leading Clare line of OptoMOS Solid State Relays in order to provide our customers with leading-edge, creative design solutions.

With respect to our current products, all currently available and recently planned products, performance, manufacturing locations, regulatory approvals, etc. will remain unaffected. We will only be making a change to our name. On January 4, 2013, changes will be made to the company name brand on our electronic devices (※IXYS§ in place of ※Clare§) and also to the labels and documentation used on shipping containers, as well as the data sheets on our web site. The existing device part numbers will remain the same.

The Clare name will be phased out and replaced by the IXYS Integrated Circuits Division name and brand identity. The attached Product Change Notification (PCN) with the details of our company name brand change precedes the planned transition date (January 4, 2013) by a minimum of ninety days (90). At that time, all regulatory and product compliance information will be updated, and all products will remain fully compliant as they are today. Complete details of the change, such as all related transition dates, are included in the PCN.
