FS8836 is a companion chip to provide a solution to authenticate the embedded software (ESW) license right in the embedded system. In FS8836, there is a 24-byte key can be entered by customer using a simple tool. After that, just connect FS8836 with host CPU via I2C and add a piece of concerto software in original run-time program, then a secured system to protect the ESW is ready. In such system secured by FS8836 solution, the ESW fails to run in the customer board without FS8836 companion or the unmatched key in FS8836 connected
